Bacon Master of the Apocalypse – Kickstarter coming soon!

Happy New Year!

Over the past three months, I’ve been working on edits to Bacon Master of the Apocalypse.

I’ve also spent a ton of time preparing to launch our Kickstarter campaign!

The goal with the Kickstarter is to launch Bacon Master huge – with an exclusive epic special faux-leather hardcover edition.

Check out the art for what we expect it to look like!

And of course, we’re planning all the other formats too:

  • Ebooks
  • Paperbacks
  • Standard Hardcovers
  • Audiobooks

And the Kickstarter will have some really cool add-ons, like Bacon Master cookie cutters, an epic frying pan with Bacon Master (and your name) engraved, aprons, and more!

Check out the Kickstarter at this link.

We’re planning on launching it in mid-January, but you can click the link at any time to sign up for notifications on launch day.

What is Bacon Master about?

It is a humorous epic fantasy saga set in a world where most of the world comes from food.

When monstrous hordes invade the Rubric Empire, the long-feared apocalypse may be upon them. Worse, the heroes who lead the empire’s forces, known as Reapers of the Apocalypse, are unexpectedly sidelined by nefarious contract negotiations.

They need new Reapers.

They get Rasher Dilskin. He’s an experienced Bacon Master, but he faints at the sight of blood. His new team are a quirky lot with their own challenges that make everyone doubt they can succeed.

This is one of those do-or-die jobs. Literally. Unknown enemies are launching ever-intensifying attacks, while internal opposition and intrigue threaten to destroy them. Rasher and his team need to cook up some epic new recipes, and fast.

Bacon Master of the Apocalypse drops Rasher and his team into a boiling pot of danger, political intrigue, and epic food fights that will keep you glued to every page while binge-eating all your favorite foods.

Why Kickstarter? Why not just release the book like I have all the others?

Good question. Kickstarter is a crowd funding platform where backers sign up to support a project before it launches. In our case, we want to produce the epic leather hardcovers, but I have no idea what the interest level will be, so it’s hard to order a big shipment up front. They’re pretty expensive.

This way, I’ll know exactly how many to order, and if we get enough backers, we’ll also raise enough money to cover the up-front production costs for the other formats, particularly the audiobook.

I’ll post more when the Kickstarter launches.

Until then, have a wonderful day!
