Yesterday we held our second Story Squad quarterly conference call on writing. Despite some early technical issues, we had a fantastic call.

The amazing Dave Butler was our guest author, and we spent the hour discussing how to brainstorm your next story. Our discussion roamed from the best ways to feed your creativity, to how to recognize the flash of inspiration that might be the Next Great Idea, to fleshing it out into an actual story. We talked about real-life examples, and answered some questions posed by our small but enthusiastic group of callers.

I’m thrilled with how educational and entertaining the call turned out, and I am hopeful that we’re building something that lots of people can benefit from.
